Mullenscote range now embraces special Seeland Clothing

Clothing specially designed for dog handlers and trainers is now available from the shop at Mullenscote Gundogs. Unlike other ranges that have a one-shape-suits-all policy, the Seeland Thornhill clothes are tailored differently for male and female wearers, recognising that we are all very much not the same!

“These Thornhill jackets and trousers are the obvious result of detailed research,” says Mullenscote owner Howard Kirby. “We have studied them closely here and the whole team agrees that their superb features make them ideal whether you are training dogs, or working them in the field.

“They are created used advanced fabrics with waterproof, breathable, hardwearing and reinforced fabrics and packed with features such as the nine external pockets on the jackets, a swivel for attaching lanyards, waist and hem draw cords, under arm vents with waterproof zips and a rear zip-off waterproof dummy carrying pouch.

“The trousers have adjustable waistbands, as well as braces buttons, two pockets each on the front, back, sides, reinforcement in high stress areas, a high back, velcro ankle adjustments and a flap of the front of the leg that prevents ingress of water into wellington boots – essential when working through wet high cover.

“I think they are ideal to offer alongside the extensive range of dummies, leads, whistles, lanyards, wellies, and other accessories that we already stock.”
